Dr. Shamil Hajee
DMD
Going to the dentist has always been an enjoyable experience for Dr. Hajee, and with no surprise he decided to make a career out of it. Dr. Shamil Hajee grew up in Burnaby, where he graduated from Simon Fraser University with a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. After a brief period of working in Cancer Research, he went on to receive his D.M.D. from The University of Sydney, in Australia. During his time there, he was actively involved in the community as a volunteer in several outreach programs as well as providing dental care in under-serviced areas.
Dr. Hajee has a strong belief in taking the time to get to know his patients personally and their oral health goals. While he loves to continue to grow and further his skill set, his favourite aspects include: Restorative Dentistry, Oral Surgery as well as Cosmetic Dentistry to help his patients feel confident in their smile.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hajee enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He is a proud dad and enjoys live music and comedy. He is also an avid traveller and loves taking every opportunity to experience new food and culture with his wife and daughter.

We are upgrading our office with a new look, and best of all new technology! Our clinic is still open to help the city of New Westminster with your dental needs. Same address, new look! Parking can be found along the street, or along Debeck Street or in the lot at the back of the building.
