What is restorative care?
Restorative dental care involves treatments aimed at repairing or replacing damaged, decayed, or missing teeth to restore their function, aesthetics, and overall oral health.
Common restorative treatments include fillings, crowns, bridges, dental implants, and dentures. By restoring the integrity and appearance of the smile, restorative care not only enhances chewing ability and speech but also boosts confidence and promotes long-term oral health.
Types of Restoration
Diamond Dental Centre offers a range of restorative dentistry solutions to help restore your smile. Whether you have cavities, cracks, or missing teeth, our dentists are dedicated to helping you achieve a healthy and beautiful smile you can be proud of.
Dental fillings are used to repair teeth affected by cavities or minor damage, fillings restore the tooth’s shape and function. Materials commonly used for fillings include composite resin, amalgam, and porcelain.
Dental bonding involves applying tooth-coloured composite resin to repair chipped, cracked, or discoloured teeth. It can also be used to fill in gaps between teeth or to reshape teeth for cosmetic enhancement.
Dentures are removable prosthetic devices used to replace multiple missing teeth. They come in various types, including full dentures (for complete tooth loss) and partial dentures (for partial tooth loss), restoring chewing ability and facial aesthetics.
Root Canal therapy procedure is performed to treat infected or inflamed tooth pulp, often caused by deep decay or trauma. The infected pulp is removed, and the root canal is cleaned, filled, and sealed to save the tooth from extraction.
